The Highland Cow Experience
Enjoy a scenic trailer ride through the hills before meeting our friendly fold up close. Take photos and enjoy the views during this one-hour guided experience.
Afterwards, explore the farm at your own pace, stroll through the visitor paddocks, and unwind with a tea, coffee, or ice cream. Toilets and handwashing facilities are available. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking.
£21.20 per child or £31.80 per adult
The Highland Way - On Foot
It’s a brilliant way to see these majestic animals up close.
Your ticket also includes full access to the rest of the farm, where you can meet goats, chickens, sheep and pigs, plus you’ll get a bag of animal food and a map to guide you.
Picnics are welcome, and tea, coffee, and ice creams are available to buy.

BBQ & Coo - An Ultimate Date Night
Enjoy a relaxed evening with stunning views, delicious BBQ food, and a chance to meet our friendly Highland cows. You’ll start with a guided visit to the cows, then head off with your map to your own private date night pitch.
There, you’ll light your own fire, cook up tasty local produce, and unwind beside the flames. With limited dates available, early booking is a must – don’t miss out!

About your hosts
Fenwick and Jas reckon that outdoor, unhindered play is definitely the best. Well, second to actually putting the kids to use on the farm that is! That’s why the play area at Jacksons at Jedburgh is down to earth, imaginative and rustic.

Our animals at the farm in the Scottish Borders

Highland Cows
A small fold of these ancient and iconic cows live on the farm. They’re a majestic animal which fares well in the varied Scottish weather.

Sheep
A variety of breeds of sheep graze at the farm. You’ll find out all about them when you visit.

Goats
whether they’re nibbling on everything in sight, or playfully head butting each other, goats have a way of keeping us entertained and on our toes.

Salers
The main breed of cows on the farm used for producing high quality breeding stock and beef production.

Pigs
Pigs are intelligent animals and the Jackson family enjoy rearing a small number of pigs on the farm.

Poultry
The Jacksons keep both chickens and ducks on the farm. Providing them with fresh eggs for baking and the ever favourite Sunday roast accompaniment - Yorkshire puddings!
