Our animals at the farm in the Scottish Borders

Highland Cows
A small fold of these ancient and iconic cows live on the farm. They’re a majestic animal which fares well in the varied Scottish weather.

Sheep
A variety of breeds of sheep graze at the farm. You’ll find out all about them when you visit.

Goats
whether they’re nibbling on everything in sight, or playfully head butting each other, goats have a way of keeping us entertained and on our toes.

Salers
The main breed of cows on the farm used for producing high quality breeding stock and beef production.

Pigs
Pigs are intelligent animals and the Jackson family enjoy rearing a small number of pigs on the farm.

Poultry
The Jacksons keep both chickens and ducks on the farm. Providing them with fresh eggs for baking and the ever favourite Sunday roast accompaniment - Yorkshire puddings!
