What actually IS 'The Lambing Experience'?
A hands on and down to earth glimpse into farming life at lambing time on the farm.
Here’s a mini itinery of what your experience might look like (remember every day on a farm is different so the following list may not be in order!)
- Tractor and Trailer tour into the lambing fields
- See newborn lambs in the field(maybe a live birth!)
- Bottle feed a lamb
- Learn how we care for our animals in the spring
- Explore what else is on offer at the farm (picnic, play & feed the animals)
What else is there to do at the farm?
- Low key play area - including a traditional farm tyre swing
- Coffee, locally made ice cream & snacks
- Farm walk - feed the other animals
- Grass picnic area
